📝 Description
Vintage 1953-1954 Zippo lighter featuring a raised Forest Oil advertising emblem depicting a yellow dog oil derrick/lantern design on the front. The reverse has a script-style W.H. Cobb marking.
The insert is marked “ZIPPO MFG. CO. BRADFORD, PA. / MADE IN ZIPPO U.S.A. / PAT. 2517191 / PAT. PEND.” The bottom of the case is marked “ZIPPO MFG. CO. BRADFORD, PA. / MADE IN ZIPPO U.S.A. / PAT. 2517191 / PAT. PEND.”
Like most older Zippo lighters, this will need a wick, flint, and lighter fluid before use. It has not been tested with fuel.
