Vintage 1953 AAA (American Automobile Association) "National Award" trunk lid emblem — the classic oval AAA logo badge in polished chrome with red enamel accents, mounted on its bracket with the "National Award" nameplate below.
This example is exceptionally complete: it includes the original AAA-branded storage box and the original printed instruction sheet for mounting to a trunk lid, both in excellent condition. The emblem itself shows bright, clean chrome with minimal wear, consistent with new old stock (NOS).
The back is stamped "GRAMMES © 1953, PAT. 2805332," confirming manufacture by L.F. Grammes & Sons, Inc. of Allentown, PA — a known maker of period automotive emblems and awards.
