Vintage Structo No. 605 Excavating Company Dump Truck – Circa 1953–1954
Offered is an original vintage Structo Toys No. 605 Excavating Company dump truck, manufactured in Freeport, Illinois.
This classic American construction toy dates to approximately 1953–1954 and features the distinctive orange cab with dark blue dump body.
The truck retains its original-style Structo Toys – Freeport, Illinois U.S.A. door graphics and the large Structo Excavating Company graphics on the dump bed.
The dump body raises manually using the original metal lever mechanism, as shown in the photographs.

Condition: Good vintage used condition with honest age and play wear. The orange cab retains strong color but shows scratches, scuffs, small paint losses and general surface wear. The dark blue dump bed has additional paint wear, oxidation/rust spotting and scratches, particularly inside the bed and along the rolled edges.
The Excavating Company graphics remain visible but have areas of loss and wear. The Structo door decals are comparatively strong.The wheels and tires are present. The dump mechanism raises as shown in the photographs.No restoration or repainting is represented. The truck is being sold as an original vintage collectible in the condition shown.
