For your consideration is a beautifully preserved example of a 1957 Schwinn Tiger 26” Middleweight bike. This bike is in excellent condition considering it’s nearly 70 years old. The physical condition is superb, and the cosmetics, while not perfect are rather nice. I’d give it a solid 8+/10. The wheels glisten and boast the Schwinn S7 center stamp which can be easily seen. New tires 26x2x13/4 (newer version of the s7 tires which are a bit wider for modern comfort and durability). The pedals are original and in good shape, one of the blocks on the left pedal is a bit knarfed up, but it is not bad and still presentable. The bars are good and the chrome is good, but there is a bit of loss of luster on the chrome. It could likely be more aggressively polished but it’s not bad. The grips are original and in good shape. The front brake/cable/pads and lever are original. The fenders are in excellent condition with the exception of a ding on the rear fender (in the pix). Otherwise they are great (see pix). The seat is original and in better than normal shape.
Also included is a bike licensed for Alpena Michigan on the rear fender.
