This handcrafted bowl sloped inward and down and pedestal outward and down. It is colors are of water with side alternating zigzags. The coloring is also subtle and complements any other color, mass or texture used. It was found in a local estate sale and used speciically for its sizea and adaptability. We have found and enjoyed many ikebana containers while in Japan and our travels throughout the mainland and return to the Islands. They are displayed at home, used for demonstrations and presented at exhibitions. The first six pictures and the last one were taken with a black felt background with workroom lighting while the remaining pictures were taken in camera tent. The empty Asahi bottle is not for sale, but to illustrate the relative size of the container. Will answer all questions promptly.
