Wonderful vintage Jantzen rubber swim cap, circa 1960s to early 1970s, in white/ivory with a distinctive raised design of stylized women swimming across the surface.
The cap has a sculptural molded shape with ear coverage and metal snap closure, plus textured reinforcement on the interior. It is marked Jantzen along the inside edge with a serial number.
A particularly fun example of mid-century/early 1970s swimwear design and a great piece for collectors of vintage Jantzen, bathing fashion, swimwear history, or unusual fashion accessories.
