A wonderful little sewing time capsule from the 1960s–70s, centered around a vintage Wil-Hold sewing box by Wilson Mfg. Corp. of Sunbury, Pennsylvania.This box was found with an assortment of vintage thread, needles, pins, scissors, buttons, trims and other sewing notions accumulated and stored inside over the years.Much of the collection appears to date from the same general 1960s–70s period, although some pieces may be earlier or later. The collection is being offered as found.The Wil-Hold box features a bright orange/red hard plastic body with carrying handle, metal latch and its original removable molded organizer tray with spool pegs and divided storage compartments.Contents include:
