I'm having a bit of trouble identifying the color. It is very dark. At first glance, I thought it was purple. Then I thought maybe black. I think it is a very dark brown because when held to light, the bottom appears orange/amber.
This is and ultra rare and beautiful find! The bright glare is an unavoidable lighting artifact and not part of the item. Buyers should go into this purchase knowing this is vintage preowned and not new. There is wear and a light cleaning is needed. If I see any visible damage on items, I zoom in with the images. Buyers are able to view and zoom in on each image to see condition detail clearly. Please do so prior to making your purchase. Considering how long this has been around, the condition is still great.
