Vintage 1960s Freedex for Boots “Classic” Black Leather Handbag – Made in Irish RepublicBeautiful vintage structured black leather handbag by Freedex for Boots, dating to approximately the 1960s.This classic mid-century handbag features a structured silhouette, double top handles, gold/brass-tone metal frame and push-button clasp. The interior is lined and includes a zippered compartment. Original interior label reads “Boots ‘Classic’ Bag by Freedex – Made in Irish Republic.”Condition: Good vintage pre-owned condition, especially considering its age. Handles are in excellent vintage condition with only minor age-related wear upon close inspection. Bottom is excellent with no noticeable wear. Interior is very good and clean for its age.Exterior presents beautifully with a few faint surface scuffs on the front that are difficult to see unless viewed closely. Gold/brass-tone frame and clasp show age-related tarnishing, spotting and finish wear.
