Striking original vintage Peter Max silk scarf from the late 1960s/early 1970s, featuring an incredible psychedelic floral and abstract design in vivid pink, orange, lime green, lavender, blue and yellow.
The long rectangular design features an oversized “peter max ©” graphic at one end, along with the original woven Peter Max label. Interior tag is marked ALL SILK / JAPAN.
Measures approximately 41” long x 14” wide.
Beautiful vintage condition. I have carefully examined the scarf and do not see any holes, stains, pulls or other notable flaws. Colors remain exceptionally bright and vibrant, and the silk has a beautiful sheen. Please review all photos closely for condition.
A particularly graphic and display-worthy example of Peter Max’s iconic psychedelic Pop Art aesthetic. Wonderful worn as a scarf, but equally striking as a collectible textile or framed/displayed piece.
