Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage head oil painting done on artist board. The painting was done by St. Louis artist, Milton Marion, and was recently purchased from his estate. Some of his works were signed, while others were not - this one in particular was not signed. The painting is done in a sort of Mondrian style, and it dates back to the \'60s. It is framed in a nice solid vintage wooden frame that is original to the piece.
Measurements: Including the wooden frame, approx. 18\" tall x 15\" wide. The frame forms a 1.5\" thick border around the artwork.
Condition: Very good condition - shows only light traces of wear that are commensurate with age and handling - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The painting could use a gentle cleaning as it has a little bit of surface dust on it throughout. The frame is structurally solid, and all-in-all, displays well. There is a make-shift string draped across the back of the frame for hanging; it works, but we\'d recommend replacing it with picture framing wire. Being sold \"as-is\" - so please inquire with any questions as all sales are final.
