Up for sale is a wonderful lot of four (4) vintage hardcover children\'s books from the Weekly Reader Children\'s Book Club, dating to the late 1950s and early 1960s. This lot is a true time-capsule set from a single original family collection and includes several hard-to-find vintage paper dust jackets!

1. \"Olaf Reads\" by Joan Lexau, Illustrated by Harvey Weiss (1961)- Condition: Great vintage condition with good binding and clean, unmarked internal pages. Includes its original dust jacket! The dust jacket has a neat vintage handwritten name and date from late 1960 on the inside flap. The perforated bookmark section on the back flap has been cleanly removed as intended by the original child owner.
2. \"The Happy Birthday Umbrella\" by David Cornel DeJong, Illustrated by Harvey Weiss (1959)- Condition: Clean and tightly bound with crisp internal pages. Includes its original dust jacket! The dust jacket features a clean vintage name/date inscription on the inside flap, and the matching perforated bookmark section has been cleanly cut out from the back flap.
3. \"Churchmouse Stories\" by Margot Austin (1956/1960 Weekly Reader Printing)- Condition: Book itself is in very good vintage condition with good cover boards and secure binding. Interior pages are clean of writing. Includes a partial original dust jacket! The front half of the jacket is largely torn/missing, but the back half of the jacket remains intact, cleanly preserving the vintage handwritten owner\'s name, date, and the cut-out bookmark edge on the back flap.
4. \"Rusty Rings a Bell\" by Franklyn M. Branley & Eleanor K. Vaughan (1960 printing)- Condition: Very Good vintage condition. Please note this book does NOT include a dust jacket (hardcover boards only). The orange cover boards are clean and bright, the binding is secure, and the interior pages are crisp.
