The product is a vintage 1961 USAF Titan II Underground Launch Complex Cutaway Illustration / Lithoggraph. This original piece of militaria from the United States features a detailed 21\" x 15\" illustration of the Titan II missile launch complex. Published by the manufacturer, The Martin Company, Denver (Martin Marietta, now Lockheed Martin) most likely for the company\'s internal presentation, it serves as a unique collectible for those interested in military history and aviation memorabilia, offering a glimpse into the technology and infrastructure of missile defense systems during the Cold War era. This piece provides a historical and artistic value to collectors and enthusiasts alike. The illustration predates operational deployment, which adds even more historical interest.
Illustration is on medium cardboard stock and has a slight reflective pebble finish. It was taken out of a period frame that was sealed with paper and had not been opened since it was framed in glass probably sometime in 1960s from look of paper, glass and wire (note: frame and glass not included unless arrangements made). In very nice condition and beautiful. Great display item and would look especially great in a Lockheed Martin corporate office. There are probably no others of these out there, so truly a rare piece - even museum worthy. Please ask any questions. (note the illustration has no markings that would prohibit public release)
