Up for sale is a highly rare, 100% authentic Fender 10-String Tuner Pan Assembly from the mid-to-late 1960s CBS transition era. This cast chrome assembly features the correct, factory-offset 10-string layout used exclusively on Fender's top-tier professional console and pedal steel instruments. This is an incredibly difficult-to-find part and is a direct drop-in replacement for your vintage restoration project.

The Chrome Tray: Deeply stamped on the front face with the classic cursive Fender logo and PAT. NO. 2838974. The reverse underside features the authentic, mirrored factory casting script imprint. The Tuner Strips: Includes a matching pair of unbroken, original 5-on-a-plate tuner strips. These are highly sought after by builders because they are rarely found intact.
The Era Markers: The ribbed gear covers feature the iconic "Double-Line" Kluson Deluxe stamping (Kluson down the left side, Deluxe down the right), pinning the manufacture date securely between 1964 and 1968.
Condition Report: This assembly is in good, solid vintage condition, but in need of cleaning and oiling. The chrome pan shows typical cosmetic wear for a 60-year-old part, including oxidation, surface pitting, and light rust spots inside the troughs (please study the photos carefully). The chrome still holds a nice, clean reflective shine on the face. Mechanically, the 5-on-a-plate strips are structurally excellent. The baseplates are completely flat, the original oval metal buttons are firmly attached to their shafts, and the tuner posts are straight and unbent. The gears turn smoothly.
