This classic \"Safe Play\" set was manufactured in Deming, New Mexico, and represents a beautifully intact piece of mid-century American toy history. The kit is designed to resemble real outdoor gear, safely crafted from the flexible rubber and plastic compounds Auburn was famous for.

Contents (Mint/Sealed): The internal components are brand new, completely unused, and remain sealed beneath the factory clear shrink-wrap layer inside the box. The set features a bright green web belt, a matching green vinyl sandwich pouch with a button closure, a red toy utility knife with a green sheath, a red toy camp ax with a green sheath, a molded green wrist compass with clear face details, and red extra belt hooks. The colors are incredibly vibrant, showing zero signs of UV fading, chemical weeping, or storage degradation.
Box Front & Sides: The original cardboard window display box retains excellent structural integrity and vivid red, green, and black graphics featuring the iconic Auburn Jester. The cellophane window is intact and firmly attached, showing only normal age-related wrinkling. The outer box exhibits light edge wear, minor corner softening, and a few small stress creases. There is a small, typical structural tear at the top-left corner flap seam from decades of storage, but the box displays beautifully and holds its crisp rectangular shape.
Box Back (Uncut Contest Entry): The reverse side of the box is clean, exceptionally white, and features the completely uncut, un-filled \"$1,000 College Trust Certificate\" promotional entry form.
