Vintage 1965 Tonka Jeep Wagoneer Red Pressed Steel 9\" Mini-Tonka USA For Sale

Offered is an original vintage Mini-Tonka Jeep Wagoneer dating to approximately the mid-to-late 1960s. This is the approximately 9-inch pressed-steel Wagoneer produced by Tonka during the classic Mini-Tonka era.

The truck retains its red pressed-steel body, white plastic interior/chassis assembly, black steering wheel, all four wheels and tires, clear side and rear window components, front fascia/headlight assembly, metal front bumper embossed JEEP, and rear bumper.

The red finish appears consistent with original factory paint and shows genuine play wear from decades of use. There are numerous scratches, scuffs, paint chips, rubbed edges, exposed metal and areas of surface oxidation throughout. The body remains quite presentable as an honest vintage survivor.

Important condition details: The original rear fold-down tailgate is missing. The front clear windshield is substantially broken/missing, with remnants of the original clear plastic remaining around the windshield opening. The remaining side and rear clear window material shows scratches, clouding and normal age wear.

All four wheels and tires remain with the vehicle. One cream-colored wheel center/hubcap has a sizeable broken-away section, as clearly shown in the photographs.

One oval Tonka decal remains on the side of the Wagoneer. The corresponding decal on the opposite side is no longer present.

The white interior/chassis remains surprisingly clean for the amount of exterior play wear, and the black steering wheel is still present. The front Jeep-marked bumper and rear bumper are also retained.

This vehicle is not being represented as complete or mint. It is being sold as an original vintage Tonka survivor with substantial play wear, a missing tailgate, damaged windshield and damaged wheel center. It would display well as-is and also makes a good restoration candidate for a collector who already has or wishes to source the missing pieces.
