This is a fantastic vintage1966 Wen-Mac AMF Ford Mustang GT 2+2 battery-operated motorized toy car, finished in a beautifulorange/red-orange color. This is a large vintage collectible measuring approximately14 inches long × 5½ inches wide × 4 inches high. It features classic Mustang styling,289 emblems, Mustang rocker graphics, detailed wheels and interior, an opening hood with engine detail, and “MUSTANG 1966” detailing on the rear.
Please keep in mind that this is an original vintage toy and is infair pre-owned condition with considerable age-related wear. There arenumerous scratches, scuffs, marks and areas of discoloration throughout the body. The hood and other areas of the exterior show noticeable scratches and wear. Thefront windshield is crackedand also has scratches and age-related wear. Therear window also has noticeable scratches and wear. There is additional wear visible around the windows, bumpers, chrome-colored trim, wheels and other areas of the vehicle.Please look closely at ALL photographs, as they are an important part of the condition description and show the actual cosmetic condition of this vintage car.
Battery-Operated / Motorized Feature
After opening the vehicle, I discovered that this is thebattery-operated motorized version. Inside the car is abattery compartment along with the motor, wiring, gears and drivetrain components. Photos of the opened vehicle and its internal components are included so the buyer can see exactly what is present.
IMPORTANT: THE BATTERY-OPERATED/MOTORIZED FUNCTION HAS NOT BEEN TESTED.The working condition of the motor, electrical components and mechanical functions isunknown and not guaranteed. No claim is being made that the vehicle currently operates. It is being sold in its present vintage condition.
Despite its wear, this is still a fantastic large vintage Mustang with tremendous character and display appeal. It would make a wonderful addition to aFord Mustang collection, vintage toy collection, automotive memorabilia collection, or restoration project.
