1967 BULOVA DIAMOND EXCELLENCY “E” WATCH

This watch comes in its Original Bulova Case! The case is in good working condition especially for its age. It opens & closes as it should.

10K ROLLED GOLD PLATE

M7 (which stands for the year ~ 1967)

J682131 (which should be its serial #)

This watch is Silver-tone so the 10K RGP should be White Gold.

It has 2 Diamonds at the 3 & 9 O’ Clock positions. I did take this to a jeweler who verified the diamonds are real.

I have wound the watch several times & it does appear to be operating. This watch is Approximately 59 years old & does show it’s been worn as it has scratches on its crystal & the back & is in the Condition shown in its Photos. Since it had no issues with winding I did not open the back BUT I do believe this watch to be what it should & I do believe it will pass Authentication if buyer chooses it.

I have included in the photos 2 screenshots ~ 1 is the Original advertisement which says this model is the “E” version & that it’s a 17 Jewel watch with Twin Diamonds & is Shock Resistant. It originally sold for $69.95

I do think that if the buyer chooses to take this watch to their watchmaker that it could be easily spruced up! I live in a small town that no longer has a watchmaker. I can’t even find a retired one. Since this is a Vintage piece I decided the leave it & sell it as you found it was the right way to go But I did take it to my jeweler & have the Diamonds & Metal checked with his machine.

It’s a beautiful Vintage Watch & finding 1 in its Original Box that’s Running was an incredible & surprising find but I think thats a benefit of living where I live here in Coeur D Alene, Idaho! This area has had a huge retirement age residents in the past & I can still find some amazing things!
