Up for sale is an original 1968 Hot Wheels Redline Turbofire in Spectraflame Red, made by Mattel in the U.S.A. The base is clearly stamped "HOT WHEELS TURBOFIRE © 1968 MATTEL INC., U.S.A. — U.S. & FOREIGN PAT. PEND."
This is a genuine vintage piece from the first year of Hot Wheels production, featuring the classic redline wheels and Spectraflame paint that collectors look for. Paint shows typical age wear and scuffing consistent with play from the era (see photos for exact condition — please zoom in and judge condition for yourself). Redlines and wheels are present and intact.
A great addition to any vintage Hot Wheels or Redline collection, or a nice display piece on its own.
