This specific reference is legendary among vintage collectors for its procurement by the US Counterinsurgency Support Office (CISO) for covert operators in the Studies and Observations Group (SOG) during the Vietnam War.
It features the iconic charcoal/black Arabic numeral dial, which remains completely original and untouched. This watch runs beautifully and is paired with a phenomenal modern tool addition—a Sangin Instruments brass compass that has developed a gorgeous, organic patina.

Dial & Hands: Original matte charcoal dial with stark white Arabic numerals. Pristine condition with no heavy degradation or spotting. Original hands showing natural aging.
