Beautiful Vintage 1969 Silver Face Marantz Number Twenty Six Receiver. Gorgeous Solid Wood Cabinet (over factory metal cabinet). Early Low Serial Number 1246. Works, but has a lot of static when you turn the knobs. For example, the volume when turned completely off you can still hear the sound. The balance doesn’t seem to actually switch. The meter works, but the light does not come on. Also the stereo light does not light up. The silver face has discoloration and minor scratches/marks. Metal mesh on the back of the top is bowed down slightly (not noticeable). It has been stored for at least 30 years, so it’s going to need restoration. Age related wear, some edge/side/corner chips/knicks, scuffs, scratches, discoloration, etc. Measures 18.5” wide x 13” deep x 6” tall. This is a super cool rare early Marantz receiver. Sold as-is in restorable condition.
