Absolutely spectacular vintage 1970s Sho Max butterfly cape top, made from 100% silk and completely covered in intricate hand-applied sequins and beadwork.This is one of those extraordinary statement pieces that can only be found in true vintage. Butterfly tops and capes were iconic during the 1970s, but the quality and elaborateness vary tremendously. This is an especially beautiful example, with yards of flowing silk creating an incredibly dramatic butterfly silhouette.The black silk base is densely embellished with glossy black and white sequins, beautifully accented and outlined with gold seed beads.
