Vintage circa-1970s solid brass mantel clock featuring an ornate jousting knight on horseback.
The heavy brass case has elaborate Rococo Revival-style scrollwork and pierced decoration, with a glass-covered clock face and black Roman numerals. The knight holds a long spear above his head while riding a rearing horse.
The clock has a battery-operated quartz movement powered by one AA battery. It was tested with a fresh battery and ran properly, keeping accurate time throughout the testing period.
Measures approximately:

The clock is in excellent overall vintage condition and appears complete, with no broken or missing parts found. The glass face is intact. The knight’s spear has some bending, as clearly shown in the photos. The brass has a fantastic age-related patina.
The maker and country of origin are unknown. This is believed to date from approximately the 1970s based on its design, construction and matching examples.
Battery is not included.
