So this is one mixed up and super interesting lot. The carrying case, which I will say is super cool and very durable and works to carry the lantern. It is actually a Cosmodine Corporation Cryogenic sample carrying case. However the lantern fits in it pretty dang well, albeit a little fine tuning wouldn't hurt. Then there are 2 1960s 1 quart fuel canisters in new old stock condition. So there a bit dusty but in excellent condition.
Then the lantern almost made me cry. When I saw that Olive Green base and US marking I was so happy, then to realize the top is not original a tear came to my eye. Alas if ever a replacement top comes around its a easy swap, and a rattle can of matching paint would make this top look good-ish.
Of yeah, the lantern needs re-sealed, it does not hold pressure, but it does have a neat hidden compartment with some original something wrapped up around a wrench.
