I posted this one a little while back, but after doing considerably more research and comparing the shirt directly to the original 1977 KISS merchandise order form, this one deserves a proper repost with the additional documentation.
ORIGINAL 1977 KISS “LOVE GUN” TAN T-SHIRT
This isn’t simply another old KISS shirt.
The original 1977 KISS merchandise order form actually pictures this shirt as Item (A), the “LOVE GUN” SHIRT.
The original description reads:
“Another KISS triumph! This new album art is screened on a tan T-shirt.”
And the price in 1977?
$5.00.

Same Love Gun artwork.
Same KISS logo positioned above the image.
Same tan-colored shirt.
Same front-only design.
The order form offered the shirt in adult Small, Medium and Large — and this surviving example retains its original tag:

This is the kind of piece that makes collecting KISS memorabilia so much fun. Nearly 50 years later, we can put the surviving shirt alongside the original 1977 merchandise advertisement and document exactly what we’re looking at.
CONDITION
This shirt has earned every one of its nearly 50 years.
It is being offered in naturally aged, as-found vintage condition and shows significant age and wear, including widespread spotting, staining/discoloration, fading and general surface wear throughout the fabric.
Nothing is being hidden. Detailed close-up photographs of the affected areas are included so the next owner can see exactly what they’re getting.
Despite the cosmetic wear, the shirt remains intact, the original Love Gun graphic is complete and highly recognizable, and the original Small 34–36 / 100% Cotton / Made in USA tag remains present and readable.
This isn’t being represented as a pristine vintage T-shirt.
It’s being offered for what it is — a rare surviving piece of 1977 KISS history.
