Up for your consideration is a stunning, large scale vintage porcelain Cache Pot crafted in 1983 by the world renowned Giulia Mangini workshop in Florentine, Italy. This magnificent piece showcases Mangini's legendary artisan craftsmanship, featuring a vibrant, hand painted faux Lapis-Lazuli finish with deep royal blues and intricate golden veining. The look is beautifully framed by bright, classical gold gilt bands at the rim and base.
This special piece was produced as part of an exclusive 1983 collection imported by the luxury New York distributor C.S. Goodfriend & Co, Inc. who supplied elite American boutiques and high end department stores during the 1980s. NO damage--no chips, cracks, hairline fractures, repairs, or crazing. (Pease look at the 3rd and 4th photo from the end to see a couple of light dark marks on top rim) The gold gilt bands are exceptionally bright and intact with no visible rubbing, fading, or wear. The interior and exterior are flawlessly clean, indicating it was likely used purely as a cabinet piece rather than a functional planter.
