Not sold publicly — employee-only first-edition distribution. Printed for Apple's 10th-anniversary sales meeting and distributed free to every Apple employee. Apple did not put it through normal retail channels, which is why it surfaces on in such small numbers — most copies in collector circulation are surviving employee copies. The book ends with an alphabetical roll of every Apple employee through January 1, 1987 printed in a tiny font (eight pages), plus four full-width "Time Capsule" foldouts and full-page color plates on glossy paper.
Why it matters to a collector: Pre-Jobs-return internal corporate publishing; rare in part because it was never a normal retail release. Historical design touchstone from Apple's Creative Services team.
