Vintage 1988 Linda Babat Studio Art Pottery Bowl 9\" Signed Memphis Postmodern For Sale

Babat Studio Pottery abstract bowl

This bold, wavy, hand-formed style perfectly captures the late 1980s Postmodern / Memphis Milano art movement.

The style is defined by energetic geometric combinations, hand-drawn black linework, asymmetrical or ruffled rims, and mix of pastel hues paired with stark black-and-white checkerboard patterns.

Hand-painted, thick-glazed earthenware studio art pottery. Because these were hand-formed and individually glazed, each bowl features unique organic variations in its shape and lines.

Memphis Milano style, Postmodern abstract art, wavy/ruffled rim, Lill Street Studio Chicago, checkerboard pattern.

Very cool piece ! Small chip on rim, see last picture. Could be repainted and less noticeable.

No other chips, cracks or repairs
