Original Armorcast-produced resin kit, licensed by Games Workshop (©1990), for the Imperial Baneblade or Shadowsword super-heavy tank. This is the vintage 3-piece modular resin kit — NOT the modern plastic GW kit. Designed for 25-28mm scale gaming. Unassembled, unpainted.
What's included, based on the parts actually in this box:
• Main hull tub with tracks cast directly onto both sides (single resin piece)
• Upper hull/deck panel with pintle mount detail
• Baneblade-style turret with short cannon and coax barrel
• Shadowsword-style turret with long cannon
• One side hull panel with circular turret-ring style cutout
• Small resin detail parts: black rubber/resin washers and rings, misc. greeblies (antenna, hatch, box shapes), a small resin sub-assembly (stowage/tool cluster)
• Sealed bag of small tan cast detail/weapon parts
• Grey resin wheel/hub-style discs (several)
• Original Armorcast box, with printed instructions/product info on the box itself
Condition — please read before purchasing:
• This is a used, opened kit in as-is condition. Parts have never been glued or painted.
•
• Filler/putty patch on the turret roof (~3/4" circular patch plus a smaller dab nearby), consistent with a resin casting void, not sanded or finished.
• Minor pinhole/air bubble casting defects scattered across resin surfaces — typical of polyurethane resin kits of this era and not a flaw specific to this copy.
• Box shows handling wear, including a torn/frayed end flap. Box is included but is not in pristine condition.
• I have not verified this against an official parts checklist (none is known to survive for this kit) and cannot 100% guarantee every original piece is present — photos show everything included in the sale, so please review them closely as they are the most accurate representation of what you will receive.
