Vintage CYTEC Retro Desktop PC Computer – For Parts / Repair
Vintage mid-1990s CYTEC desktop computer being sold AS-IS for parts, repair, restoration, or vintage computer collecting.
The computer powers on, and the hard drive activity light comes on. However, no video output was obtained during testing. At startup, the computer produces a series of beep tones. The exact cause has not been diagnosed, and no further troubleshooting was performed.
The computer appears to be largely complete internally. Visible components/features include:
* CYTEC vintage desktop case
* AMIBIOS / American Megatrends BIOS
* Cirrus Logic CL-GD5422-based VGA graphics card
* Mitsumi CRMC-FX400D CD-ROM drive, manufactured June 1995
* Two floppy disk drives
* Internal hard drive
* HCD MX-200MT switching power supply
* Multiple vintage ISA expansion cards
* Internal speaker
* Various original ribbon cables and internal components
The computer has not been fully tested, and the functionality of individual internal components is unknown.
Cosmetically, the computer shows age-related wear, discoloration, dust, marks, and other signs of long-term storage/use. Please carefully review all photos, including the detailed photos of the internal components, for the exact configuration and cosmetic condition.
