We al know, or should know, that Schott started it all when they created the Perfecto, way back in 1928. Schott jackets began as a purpose built, high quality, piece of functional road wear, designed to protect motorcyclists from the road and elements. Across the decades they have become a globally recognized American Icon, representing rebellion, counter culture cool, and functional fashion.The cafe racer was designed for those looking for a sleek close fitting jacket, that would provide the same protection, but outfitted with a mandarin collar that would allow a rider to wear a full face helmet without interference from the bulky collars found on the classic double rider, asymmetrically cut Perfectos.This particular jacket represents an incredibly rare opportunity to own a vintage jacket that is 30 years old, yet simultaneously never worn, still bearing the original factory tags!A new 641 will set you back $1000 plus dollars. These reasons can include minor damage caused in production or storage, some asymmetry, or other issue that prevent the jacket from passing strict quality control. These issues often amount to nothing more than minor scuffs or scratches that would occur in the first few wearings.
