RARE ARCHIVAL VINTAGE PIECE!
Up for sale is a beautiful men\'s tweed sport coat, hand-tailored in May 1999 by the legendary Savile Row house Fallan & Harvey (London W1).
HISTORICAL PROVENANCE:
The original tailor tag inside bears the name Patrick Suppes. Given the name\'s rarity and the May 1999 date, this jacket belonged to the famous Stanford University professor and philosopher, Patrick Suppes (1922–2014). It was recently discovered right here in the Mountain View / Palo Alto area, just minutes from the Stanford campus.
GARMENT DETAILS:
Crafted from heavy, premium wool tweed in an olive green herringbone pattern with subtle pink and blue overcheck lines—perfect for a classic Dark Academia / Ivy League look. Features a 2-button front, a smooth ventless back, and a bespoke interior ticket pocket. The outer tweed is in excellent shape!
CONDITION NOTE:
The inner lining shows some vintage wear consistent with age, including underarm yellowing/staining. The jacket remains completely wearable and full of character.
