Very old/vintage original Buco guardian half motorcycle helmet circa 1950s-60s era. The helmet is adjustable size from approximately 6 1/2” - 8”. The shell of the helmet has Scratches/Knicks, age checking, blemishes throughout and lots of patina metal snaps and some of the adjustable D-rings etc, patina on metal components are throughout. NOTE- There is a fairly noticeable 2-3” gouged scrape/separation on the back left side of the helmet under the black paint (pictured).
The black spray paint does have a glossy shine. The helmet I believe was originally a red metallic and someone sprayed it black ages ago. The paint job was amateur at best, there are runs and light uneven sprayed areas. Lots of scrapes and ware in the black paint.
One of the ear flaps has a worn spot on the edge (pictured). The goggle strap on the back has split in half from age but still attached by the Buco logo snap button (pictured).
The adjustable headband and connectors looks good and intact. The top pad is missing.
The helmet is very old and not perfect by any means so please look at all photos using zoom and please ask questions if needed prior to purchase. Sold as you see it as is/for restoration. Thank you for looking!
