Large floral cluster, approximately 2½–3 inches across. Numerous faceted blue and turquoise/teal glass stones, including several unusual molded/cut stones. Greenish centers on the three large flowers. Silver-tone, textured metal leaves and a very distinctive fleur-de-lis/scroll element at the top. The stones appear to be prong-set rather than simply glued, and the back shows the layered/open construction that collectors look for in better vintage costume jewelry. The pin mechanism and construction look distinctly mid-century, rather than contemporary.The reason is the combination of blue/green molded glass, dimensional construction, mixed stone shapes, open-back settings and elaborate metalwork. Those are characteristics frequently associated with DeLizza & Elster’s Juliana jewelry from roughly the 1960s.
