This exceptional roll of vintage metallic jacquard trim comes directly from the estate of a former Hollywood movie studio costume designer. It was carefully stored in a smoke-free, climate-controlled archive for decades.

DESIGN & ORIGINFeaturing a striking "Retro Folk" pattern, this trim blends a traditional mid-century peasant aesthetic with a bold, Mod-era palette. The design showcases detailed 5-petal black blossoms woven against a high-shine, shimmering silver diamond trellis background.Based on the incredibly precise, mechanical loom construction and the uniform thread floats on the reverse side, this ribbon is of exceptional quality and is most likely European in origin (France, West Germany, or Switzerland) from the late 1960s to mid-1970s.
