Vintage ACF Japanese porcelain decorative bowl, decorated in Hong Kong in a colorful Rose Medallion / Famille Rose style and encased in a silver-tone pewter metal exterior.

The porcelain interior features highly detailed figural scenes alternating with floral, bird and butterfly motifs in traditional pink, green, blue, red and gold tones. Raised pink enamel flowers and gilt accents add dimension throughout the decoration.

The underside retains its original red manufacturer\'s marking identifying the piece as Japanese Porcelain Ware, Decorated in Hong Kong and stating that it is not for food serving and intended for ornamental purposes only.

Comparable ACF Japanese porcelain wares decorated in Hong Kong are generally attributed to the mid-to-late 20th century, with examples of this marking dated to approximately the 1970s. �
