A distinctive mid-century business case with classic period styling and a surprisingly elaborate interior.
The case features a rigid hard-sided body, metal latch hardware, leather handle and trim, and a multi-section accordion document organizer inside.
The exterior covering appears to be coated material over a rigid shell, with genuine leather used on the handle and some trim components. I am not representing the entire case as solid leather.The interior is lined in a gold/tan woven fabric and includes multiple expandable file compartments for papers, documents, or folders.
Marked with the original metal American Voyager – New York badge featuring an airplane logo.
Also has a vintage personalized nameplate reading “F. FORRER.”
The olive green color gives this case a strong 1950s–60s executive / travel appearance and makes it more visually distinctive than the more common brown or black cases.
