An exquisite vintage Art Deco era Chinese Export style necklace featuring beautifully hand-carved gemstones and delicate metalwork. The 16-inch sterling silver chain is accented with alternating round green jade and purple amethyst beads, leading down to a striking oval-carved green jade station. Suspended beneath is a prominent, uniquely carved purple amethyst drop pendant, anchored by a beautifully detailed silver plum blossom accent—a traditional Chinese motif symbolizing resilience and spring. Fastened with a secure spring ring clasp, the metal has been tested for sterling silver purity. This unmarked heirloom piece showcases exceptional artisan craftsmanship, seamlessly pairing historic East Asian lapidary artistry with classic Art Deco symmetry.
• Length: 16 inches• Materials: Sterling Silver (unmarked but tested), Green Jade/Jadeite, Purple Amethyst• Style: Art Deco (circa 1925–1935), Chinese Export, Artisan Vintage• Clasp: Spring Ring
Please note: The carved amethyst pendant features prominent internal natural inclusions (known as \'feathers\' or growth veils) that are visible from both the front and back. These are entirely sub-surface and internal; the outer face of the gemstone is completely smooth to the touch with no surface cracks, breaks, or adhesive repairs. These beautiful internal characteristics are a classic hallmark of genuine, natural untreated amethyst.
