Gorgeous authentic Guatemalen handwoven table runner. Dense, Intricate, vibrant embroidery. Hand-loomed backstrap weave with weft brocade. This can be styled as a table runner, bed scarf or hung as wall art. The reverse side shows the loose floating threads characteristic of genuine artisan hand-brocading. Multicolored rainbow geometric zig-zag patterns framed by animal/bird motifs. fringe on ends.
This is authentic, and handwoven: there are irregularities in the thread weave and tension. There is one area on the front where blue thread is slightly snagged (showing in up close picture). Otherwise in excellent condition. No rips or stains. Threading is bright and clean. Measurement: 17”x 52” (trim not included) trim is 4” on each end.
