Vintage Bohemian Czech Lead Crystal Oval Platter Hobstar Starburst 11.25\" For Sale

This Vintage Bohemian Czech lead crystal oval serving platter features an intricate hobstar, starburst, and geometric cut pattern with polished fan panels and a beautifully scalloped rim. This substantial piece measures approximately 11.25\" long by 9.625\" wide and weighs approximately 48.2 ounces, showcasing the quality and brilliance associated with Bohemian cut crystal.

The platter displays exceptional sparkle with deep, sharply executed cuts throughout. The design incorporates radiating polished panels, hobstars, and repeating geometric motifs that create stunning light reflection.

• Deep, hand-cut starbursts and hobstars
• Long polished fan panels radiating from the center
• Fine strawberry-diamond cuts between the rays
• Heavy prismatic refraction (\"rainbows\")
• Sawtooth/notched rim

Condition: No cracks noted. There is a small chip on the rim and light surface scratches within some of the polished panels from normal use and storage. These condition issues are visible upon close inspection. Very hard to see/find chip but you can feel it if you\'re looking for it. I tried to take a picture pointing it out.

Overall, the platter remains highly decorative and displays beautifully.

A lovely vintage serving piece and an attractive addition to any collection of Bohemian or cut crystal.
