The original label identifies this as the obverse side of the third seal of the Benedictine Cathedral Priory of Christ Church, Canterbury, showing the west front of Canterbury Cathedral above the city walls. The original seal was first used in A.D. 1418.
This replica is made of resin composition and features a reddish-brown relief finish, green felt backing, original British Museum identification label, and attached hanging cord.
