Found hanging on a hook in an old coal mine, this piece retains its as found shape, dirt, coal dust and years of wear associated with a lifetime of work. Would be fantastic as part of a display of old mining equipment. The brim was separated on one side, I just added a little tape to keep it in place. Could easily be removed if desired. Tape does not show when the item is displayed appropriately. I will pack it up with the intention to keep the shape it currently holds in mind.
