Pre-owned vintage Casio JP-100W Pulsecheck digital watch with a black case and band. This is an early Casio sports watch featuring a built-in pulse check function.
The watch is currently running and was observed functioning during testing. The pulse check mode can be accessed, but the pulse sensor does not appear to properly detect a pulse with the finger held stationary. The display responds when the finger is moved back and forth across the sensor, but a stationary pulse measurement could not be obtained during testing. The accuracy of the pulse check function has not been verified.
No audible beep or sound was observed during testing. No display illumination was observed during testing.
The watch features the Casio Pulsecheck function, digital time display, stopwatch functions, and 50 meter water resistance. The caseback is marked JP-100W.
The watch is in used condition with signs of wear. Some of the text on the buttons is faded. There are scratches on the case and crystal, along with some imperfections on the band. The very bottom portion of the band has what appears to be a previous repair or adhesive on the inside. Please review all photos carefully for the overall cosmetic condition.
The battery was replaced prior to listing. During the battery replacement, it was noted that the original battery retaining strap/holder is missing. The watch is currently running, but the missing retainer makes battery replacement and reassembly more difficult than normal.
