The bottom is clearly marked ZIPPO.
Chance Vought established its Range Systems Division during the early space andmissile era. Period company material describes the division as establishing andoperating test ranges and equipment for missiles and space vehicles, includingwork involving the Pacific Missile Range and NASA satellite tracking.
The Chance Vought corporate wording is especially interesting because the divisionwas subsequently identified under the LTV / Ling-Temco-Vought name.
