-Foremost dial on barometer needs to be set and soldered but that's a simple fix
Vintage nautical desk set: matching ship’s-wheel clock and aneroid barometer on a long copper/brass base with ball feet.
Barometer (right)
Marked CHELSEA. Dual scale in inches, centimeters, and millibars. Open brass movement visible through the dial. Eight-spoke helm with brass handles. The barometer seems to be working but I can't measure it or check it myself.
Clock (left)
Matching copper/brass ship’s wheel. Wind-up analog clock, Arabic numerals. Winding key included. Dial is aged and spotted — look closely in photos. I could not clearly read a maker on the clock face; the barometer is the signed Chelsea piece.
Classic captain’s-desk / yacht-club style. Chelsea Clock Company (Boston) is the well-known American marine instrument maker.
Condition
- Honest vintage patina on the brass and copper. Not freshly polished.
- Clock dial has spotting and tarnish (see close-ups).
- Base shows surface wear.
- Key included.
- Sold as a vintage décor / collector set. Clock and barometer have not been recently serviced. [Add: clock runs / does not run / keeps time after winding — only if you tested it.]
