Vintage Chinese Hand Inside-Painted Glass Snuff Bottle – Birds & Blossoms – Boxed With Spoon
The rounded translucent/frosted glass body has an attractive finely speckled appearance and is decorated with colorful blue, yellow and black birds among white blossoms and leafy branches. The painting wraps around both sides of the bottle and displays very nicely.
The bottle retains its pale green domed stopper, cork fitting and spoon. The stopper material has not been tested and is therefore not being represented as jade or any specific stone.
Includes the decorative fitted presentation box shown in the photographs.
No artist signature, reign mark or maker’s mark was found. Because the exact date cannot be established, this piece is conservatively described as vintage Chinese / Post-1940 rather than antique.
Approximate size is just under 3 inches tall including the stopper; please see measurement photograph for scale.
Condition: Very good vintage condition overall. No cracks or major chips observed. Minor age-related wear and small bubbles/speckling are visible in the glass. There is some age-related residue/wear around the neck and stopper fitting. Painted decoration remains colorful and attractive. Stopper, cork fitting and spoon are present. Presentation box shows normal storage/age wear.
You will receive the exact bottle, stopper/spoon and presentation box shown in the photographs.
Please review all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description and condition assessment.
