Vintage Christmas Tavern Candles Wayside Shrine MCM in Original Box:
$29.98
The Vintage midcentury modern Tavern Candles from the Socony Vacuum Oil Co. Syracuse, NY are specialized, asymmetrical candles designed for Christmas celebrations in the 1950s. Made of wax with a multicolor finish, they come in their original box, adding to their collectible appeal. The Tavern Gurley brand is known for its unique designs and high-quality craftsmanship, making these candles a nostalgic touch to any holiday decor collection. The box measures 5 3/4\" X 6 3/4\" X 1 3/4\". See pictures for additional clarification. Measurements are approximate. The box has 1953 penciled on it which I am guessing is the year purchased. Items come in the original box which has one side in pretty rough shape. Although the box shows a boy and girl and 2 lambs, the box actually comes with 4 lambs. One of the lamb wrappers has opened.
