Vintage Shawnee Pottery Corn King Mini Teapot #65 – Original 1950s American Made w/ Lid
Up for sale is a charming original Shawnee Corn King miniature (individual) teapot, mold number #65. This smaller size was produced by Shawnee Pottery in Zanesville, Ohio during the 1950s.
Features:
- Iconic yellow corn kernel texture with sculpted green husks
- Matching lid with corn stem knob
- Glossy signature Shawnee yellow and green glaze
- Clearly marked on the bottom: “USA 65”
- Holds approximately 10 oz – ideal for one or two cups of tea
- Approximate dimensions: 4.5" tall (to top of lid) × 6.5" wide (spout to handle)
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The glaze is bright and shiny with only very light, normal wear for its age. No hairlines or major crazing. The lid fits perfectly and securely. A couple of tiny manufacturing marks (typical for Shawnee pottery) are present but do not affect its beauty or function.
