Vintage Coro Purple Thermoset Necklace LIFE Magazine Tag 16.5\" For Sale

Striking vintage Coro necklace featuring a row of rich purple oval thermoset cabochons with colorful confetti-like inclusions, accented by curved silver-tone sections set with clear rhinestones.
The necklace measures approximately 16.5 inches and has an adjustable hook closure. The hook is signed Coro.
What makes this piece especially fun is the original reversible Coro promotional hang tag still attached. One side features the red Coro Pegasus logo, while the reverse reads “ADVERTISED IN LIFE” and “DESIGN COPYRIGHTED,” referring to LIFE magazine. The necklace also retains its vintage Gimbels department store tag.
The deep purple thermoset cabochons have wonderful dimension and variation, with pink, purple and iridescent-looking fragments visible beneath the surface. Clear rhinestone accents between the cabochons add sparkle against the silver-tone setting.
A particularly interesting surviving Coro piece with both its original maker advertising tag and department store tag still present.
Pre-owned vintage condition with age-related wear to the metal, rhinestones and original tags as shown in the photographs. The Coro/LIFE tag and Gimbels tag show wear consistent with age. Please review all photos closely as they are part of the description.
