The Best Dynamos will always be the Vintage Chrome/ Mid Century Models. Built to a higher standard with one goal...to last forever. Anyone who has used older models and the newer models can testify that the new ones don't hold a shadow of the durability that the first generations had.
This Dynamo 1550 Is one of the sought after vintage Chrome/Metal models that are absolutely the best of the best. I can't say for sure, but I honestly think that this is a unused new old stock item. the Chrome looks untouched. the wheels are all accounted for and pristine and the original paperwork as well as Dynamo branded rules of labeling tape are all included which would have been what is included in a brand new kit when the 1550s were released. it may have been used once or twice but I can tell you it is pristine and it shows.
For collectors of office and desk equipment and memorabilia this is a perfect specimen to add to your collection and as for buyers, simply looking for a Dynamo to use for their function. no plastic modern editionnwill ever touch the durability of one of these. Truly a time capsule item. it looks as fresh as the day it was made decades ago. The photos you see in the listing are of the exact item you will receive with purchase. Once again, I can't tell you for 100% sure that it has never been used, but it certainly presents itself as a brand new old stock item.
Thank You
